- Royal duties: Prior to the births of William and Harry, Andrew had been second in line to the throne behind Charles as the Queen's second eldest son. One of his main official duties is as a Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, representing British industry abroad. He holds the earned rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.
- Famous for: Andrew married Sarah Ferguson, known informally in the media is Fergie, in 1986, but the marriage ended in divorce in 1996. He is father to Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who are fifth and sixth in line to the throne respectively. He recently hit the headlines as a result of the leaked Wikileaks cables, where it was revealed the US ambassador to Kyrgyzstan thought he had "verged on the rude" and spoke "cockily" as he railed against anti-corruption investigators in a speech at an official engagement in the country.
