Impact of no-confidence motion against Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra's administration
Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra faces a no-confidence motion in parliament this week.
She is up against an opposition which accuses her administration of incompetence and corruption.
The debate kicked off yesterday and will be followed by a no-confidence vote on Wednesday.
For more on the political situation in Thailand, I spoke with Dr Pavin Chachavalpongpun, an Associate Professor at the Centre for Southeast Asian Studies at Kyoto University in Japan.
He says Ms Yingluck is expected to survive the motion against her.
