Campaigning in the 13th Malaysian general election has rolled past the midway mark.
The ruling Barisan Nasional coalition is urging voters to give it a 13th term for an uninterrupted 60 years in power, warning voters of the risks of an opposition-led government.
It stressed that stability is needed for the continued progress of the country.
In asking voters for a mandate, the opposition Pakatan Rakyat alliance argues that progress has been mired by corruption.
