Tom Cruise probably won't be renewing his Vanity Fair subscription. The actor's lawyer is denying the magazine's report that the Church of Scientology held an "auditioning" process to find Cruise a mate after his 2001 divorce from Nicole Kidman. The church has also called the story hogwash, saying, "There was no project, secret or otherwise, ever conducted by the church to find a bride (via audition or otherwise) for any member of the church." Vanity Fair stands by its story.
