A pig farmers' association in the UK has said it is now "unavoidable" that a global bacon shortage is on the horizon. The cost of pig feed has skyrocketed due to poor grain harvests, according to the British National Pig Association, and pig herds across Europe are declining precipitously.This would be the time to start stockpiling rashers.
