Photos with Laura Ong taken at grassroots retreat: Teo Ser Luck

Although Laura Ong’s Facebook page was swiftly deleted after the news broke, a mystery blog carrying photos of Ong and her colleagues at various grassroots events was set up on the same day, prompting speculation of sabotage.

Several photos also pictured Ong with Pasir Ris-Punggol MP Teo Ser Luck, who has since told local media that they were taken during a grassroots retreat in Beijing, China, two years ago. The "bonding trip" was attended by about 50 people.

"To be honest, (Ong is) a diligent staff, she's friendly, is a people-person with all the grassroots leaders," said Teo.
