Workers Party's latest non-statement addresses none of the serious charges
In response to media queries, the Prime Minister's Press Secretary, Chang Li Lin, says the Aljunied Hougang Punggol East Town Council's conduct in the matter has raised very serious questions of integrity and honesty.
Ms Chang said these arise both from what the Town Council did, and what Workers' Party's Sylvia Lim and Mr Pritam Singh said.
She added that both Environment Minister Vivian Balakrishnan in Parliament, and the Prime Minister in his statement on Friday, pointed out that Ms Lim and Mr Singh had made false and untruthful statements, and tried to cover up the Town Council's wrongdoing.
She said Mr Low's latest non-statement addresses none of these serious charges, which therefore stand un-rebutted.
