SINGAPORE: The four—day Singapore Straits Regatta came to a close on Saturday.
Sarab Jeet Singh’s Windsikher capped its dominance in the IRC ’A’ Class by winning the final race out of two races on Day Four.
After returning to Singapore from Batam, Indonesia, on Friday, the final day was set against the scenic backdrop of the city skyline and East Coast Park.
Singapore’s Windsikher had already wrapped up the IRC ’A’ series on Friday with its fifth straight win.
It managed a second—placed finish on Race 6, before clinching Race 7, to finish well ahead of Britain’s S.Y. Endeavour and Malaysia’s Anamika in the overall standings.
Windsikher had also won the IRC ’A’ Class two years ago.
In total, 35 boats across seven classes completed the Singapore Straits Regatta, one of three key sailing events in Southeast Asia.
