SINGAPORE: An updated video of Singapore’s National Anthem, produced by the National Heritage Board, will be broadcast on Thursday at 6am in celebration of the country’s 47th National Day.
This new video will replace the current video which was launched on January 19, 2001. The score of the Anthem remains the same as the 2001 version.
The new video shows images that reflect the many changes that have taken place in Singapore over the past decade. It highlights Singapore’s achievements in recent years, and its inclusive, diverse and culturally vibrant multi—racial society.
The new video will replace the current version screened over all MediaCorp channels and all official events from August 9.
