US Marine Corps commander meets Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen
SINGAPORE: The Commander of the US Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, Lieutenant General Terry Robling called on Minister for Defence Ng Eng Hen at the Ministry of Defence on Thursday.
Lt—Gen Robling, who is in Singapore on an introductory visit from November 6 to 10, had earlier called on Chief of Army Major—General Ravinder Singh.
As part of his programme, Lt—Gen Robling visited the Changi Command & Control Centre at Changi Naval Base.
Mindef said the visit underscores the close and long—standing defence relations between Singapore and the United States.
Both militaries interact regularly through professional exchanges, bilateral and multilateral exercises, activities and courses.
