SINGAPORE: Police on Friday (Aug 29) announced they have arrested another two men, aged 27 and 28, in connection with the death of a 26-year-old Indian national at Pandan Loop last Saturday.
A third man, Thiruppathi Veerapperumal, has already been charged with the murder of the foreign worker. The victim had been found with injuries to his head and neck and had deformities on his left hand, TODAY newspaper reported. He was pronounced dead by paramedics at 72 Pandan Loop along the exit road leading to West Coast Highway at 10.50pm.
Thiruppathi faces the death penalty if convicted. The other two suspects will be charged in court on Saturday for murder. - CNA/ly
