Two awarded SPF Overseas Scholarship
SINGAPORE: Two young men received this year’s Singapore Police Force (SPF) Overseas Scholarship from Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean on Saturday evening.
The two candidates are Ng Li Ki and Shaun Lim.
They were selected for their outstanding academic performance and leadership qualities, and both are keen to serve in SPF.
Ng graduated from the Hwa Chong Institution Integrated Programme.
He will study Politics, Economics and Philosophy in Oxford University.
Lim is an International Baccalaureate holder from ACS (Independent).
He will head to Harvard University to pursue a course in liberal arts.
After their studies, the two men will serve a six—year bond in the Singapore Police Force.
