Travellers advised to plan journey this holiday weekend
SINGAPORE: Traffic flow through the land checkpoints at Woodlands and Tuas is expected to be heavy this coming Hari Raya Haji weekend.
The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority said traffic build up is expected to start from Thursday and will continue till Sunday.
It advised travellers to adjust their travel plans if possible.
It added that with enhanced security checks, traffic build—up is inevitable, particularly when a large number of travellers use the checkpoints at the same time.
