Traffic Police ups outreach efforts to engage pre-schoolers on road safety

The Traffic Police is expanding its outreach efforts to engage pre-schoolers on road safety.

For the first time, some 500 pre-schoolers took part in activities under the 32nd Annual Shell Traffic Games today.

Participants also included around 200 primary 5 students.

In previous years, only primary 5 students were invited to participate in the games.

The interactive games allow students to learn about traffic rules when they role-play as pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.

The Traffic Police is also collaborating with the Ministry of Education to display standees, banners and brochures carrying road safety messages at all local primary schools.
