Traffic arrangements for National Day Parade
The Traffic Police says several roads in the Marina Bay Area will be closed to traffic from 10am this Saturday for the National Day Parade.
Access to the affected roads and lanes will only be granted to authorised vehicles displaying the approved labels as well as Police and emergency vehicles.
Large crowds are expected at the Esplanade Waterfront Promenade, Marina Bay Sands Waterfront and Merlion Park.
And the police may close off these locations should overcrowding occur.
The pedestrian pavement along Sheares Bridge will also be closed to the public.
Admission into The Float @ Marina Bay will only be allowed for ticket holders.
The gates will open from 4.00pm.
And security checks will be conducted.
The public is advised to minimise the amount of personal belongings brought into the venue to facilitate quick security clearance.
Canned drinks and canned items will not be allowed into the venue.
