Total Defence exhibition at Singapore Discovery Centre

SINGAPORE: A new Total Defence exhibition is on at the Singapore Discovery Centre, and will run till 24 March.

The exhibition, named "Triumph Over Our Trials", aims to bring this year’s Total Defence theme "Will You Stand With Me?" closer to the public.

Senior Minister of State for Defence and Acting Minister for Social and Family Development Chan Chun Sing officiated at the exhibition on Thursday.

The exhibition is divided into five segments, representing the military, civil, economic, social and psychological aspects of Total Defence.

It was created in partnership with the Army Museum and various agencies.

Mr Chan said: "No matter what crisis we face in the future, whether is it big or small, the thing that will carry us through any crisis will be our sense of unity, our cohesion, our ability to work as an entire nation, as one Singapore, as one Team Singapore, to overcome the challenges together."
