Time capsule content on display at Science Centre Singapore
A sealed metal cylinder known as the Science Time Capsule has been dug up for an exhibition at Science Centre Singapore.
On display are household items from the past that capture a slice of life in Singapore in the 1970s and 1980s.
Visitors can expect to see previous forms of brand items like Tiger Balm, Pilot pens and F&N products.
The Science Time Capsule exhibition will run till the end of January 2013 before the capsule is returned into the ground.
Chief Executive of Science Centre Singapore Associate Professor Lim Tit Meng on why the items have been selected for display.
"These items are items the general public can identify with, they could be daily use household items or they can innovations of gadgets of industries such as medical or automobile and so on. Or it could be prototypes, it could be new concepts that are considered breakthrough items"
