The Reform Party will proceed with its rally tonight

The Reform Party says it will be proceeding with its rally tonight.
It said on its Facebook page that the police has assured them that it is safe for supporters to attend the rally, and that security has been stepped up.
Earlier, the party said it will not be proceeding with its rally, unless the police ensures the safety of their supporters.
It said this is in light of the recent threats made against its candidate, Mr Kenneth Jeyaretnam and his family.
It's believed the nature of the threats were against him contesting in the Punggol East by-election.
