The MediaCorp Subaru Challenge is back
SINGAPORE : Asia's most demanding and largest endurance contest, the MediaCorp Subaru Challenge - The Asian Face-Off is back for its 12th year.
The event, a joint initiative between Motor Image Enterprises and MediaCorp, starts on October 26 at Ngee Ann City's Civic Plaza.
The top prize is the all-new Subaru Forester 2.0i Premium worth $85,000.
The competition brings together a total 400 contestants, of which more than 300 will be Singaporeans.
The contestants will try to outlast each other by placing their right palms firmly within the surface area of palm decals stuck on the surfaces of several cars.
Forty-two-year-old software engineer Tholmas Gan Yu Shen beat out some 400 contestants to win last year's competition in 78 hours 30 minutes.
The current record stands at 81 hours and 32 minutes.
