SINGAPORE: Temasek Polytechnic emerged champions in the Green Quiz contest organised by the Singapore Green Building Council as part of its Youth for Eco—Sustainability programme.
The three—member team of Goh Jia Lin, Ang Mun Ru and Tan Zi Yang beat 19 other teams from various tertiary institutions such as Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and the National University of Singapore.
The contest aims to engage the young in its drive to bring the green message to the community.
The quiz saw teams pitting their knowledge against one another on issues covering green trends.
The winners received their awards from Dr Sujit Ghosh, CEO of Holcim Singapore who said, "The strong support from youths is a good indication that they are very much with the green cause."
