Starhub announces compensation for service disruption due to Singtel Exchange fire
StarHub has announced compensation details for the 35,000 customers who were affected by the service disruption that resulted from the fire at SingTel's Bukit Panjang Exchange on 9th October.
This is ahead of its compensation discussion with SingTel, from which it leases fibre capacity.
According to the statement,
StarHub TV customers will have free viewing of more than 170 channels for one month.
Digital Voice customers will receive a one-month subscription waiver.
Broadband customers will receive a 10 dollar supermarket voucher.
StarHub will provide details to affected customers via letter.
This follows Singtel's announcement of a compensation package for its 60,000 customers hit by the service disruption.
