SR Nathan donates $129,000 to Republic Poly
Former President S R Nathan has donated $129,000 to Republic Polytechnic to help needy students who were formerly from the Institute of Technical Education students, and now pursuing diploma programmes at the polytechnic.
He presented the donation today to set up the S R Nathan Endowment Fund, which will be used to support bursary awards of S$1,500 each for up to six students per year.
