Spreading dengue prevention message
More than 2,500 volunteers will fan out across different constituencies this weekend to spread the dengue prevention message to over 35,000 households.
The National Environment Agency says 31 outreach activities, led by MPs, will be held at constituencies such as Boon Lay, Siglap and Yuhua.
At the second round of mass training for the Dengue Volunteer Prevention Group, more than 150 participants learnt about how to identify Aedes mosquitoes, the life cycle of a mosquito and most importantly, how they can play a part in preventing dengue from spreading.
NEA says these engagement efforts will continue in the coming weeks to reach out to more households.
