Speaker of Japan’s House of Representatives in S’pore
SINGAPORE: The Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan, Mr Takahiro Yokomichi, was on an official visit to Singapore from 23 to 24 September.
His visit comes at the invitation of Singapore’s Speaker of Parliament Mr Michael Palmer.
The Japanese Embassy said the visit aimed to enhance friendly and cooperative relationship between the two parliaments.
During the visit, Mr Yokomichi had a meeting with Mr Michael Palmer at Singapore Parliament House.
He also attended lunch hosted by chairman of the Northeast Asia Regional Parliamentary Group, Mr Liang Eng, and dinner hosted by Mr Michael Palmer.
