SMRT to peg bonuses directly to performance


From this month, all SMRT Non-Executive staff will be rewarded with bonuses directly linked to three areas of performance. 

Public Transport Operator SMRT unveiled the new framework known as the monthly Productivity and Performance Incentive. 

Staff performance will be tracked under three categories - operational performance and productivity, safety regulations and customer experience. 

SMRT said the wage revision will not apply to Bus Captains as they had received a salary enhancement package last year.
