Singaporean suspect from 2001 murder arrested in Johor
A 60-year-old man wanted by Singapore police as a suspect in a murder case has been arrested by Johor police.
This is according to a Bernama news agency report which quoted Johor police chief Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff.
The man was arrested in Taman Tan Sri Yaacob in the Nusajaya area for immigration offences on 7 July.
He was charged for those offences yesterday (16/07).
After which he was handed over to the Singapore police
It's believed that he was involved in a murder in 2001.
A warrant for his arrest was issued in 2009.
