Singapore to have national case management and information system by mid-2015 to boost efficiency in social services sector
By mid-2015, the government will have a national case management and information system for the social services sector.
Called Social Service Net, it'll enable social service providers, including the government, to give more coordinated help to those in need.
The Ministry of Social and Family Development issued a tender for the system on Wednesday.
Minister for Social and Family Development Chan Chun Sing said the system will serve three needs.
It'll serve beneficiaries in a speedier and more efficient manner, and provide for more efficiency in resources deployment.
It'll also contribute to future planning by identifying future trends with changing needs and demographics.
