This, compared with the 2.8 percent growth in the previous month.

On a month-on-month basis, nodx contracted by 9.3 percent.

Electronic shipments dropped by 8.9 percent on-year, dragged down by disk media products, parts of PCs and integrated circuits.

Non-electronic exports declined by 0.9 percent led largely by structures of ships & boats.

Exports to all of the top 10 markets fell, except China, the US and Taiwan.

The top three contributors to the decline were the European Union, Hong Kong and South Korea.
