Singapore Garden Festival returns in August
Organisers say this year's Singapore Garden Festival will present an even more "complex and complete showcase."
NParks and Gardens by the Bay say visitors will be treated to diverse displays of tropical horticulture and artistry, with thousands of floral species.
The festival is back for its fifth run and will be held from Aug 16 to 24 at a new location - The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay.
The event will bring together 33 top-notch garden and floral designers from over 15 countries to compete and celebrate the joy of gardening.
At the launch event today, over 200 community gardeners, students, parents and teachers from various schools and organisations potted some 1,000 plants.
These plants were put on display at a specially created "Singapore Garden Festival Candy Land" structure at Gardens by the Bay and will be given out to visitors.
