SINGAPORE: Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam says Singapore’s Budget FY2012 is expected to have a surplus exceeding that estimated a year ago.
Instead of the expected balance of S$1.3b (0.4% of GDP), "we now expect higher surplus of S$3.9b (1.1% of GDP)," says Mr Tharman.
