Singapore’s taxi services ranked second in TripAdvisor survey
SINGAPORE : Taxi services in Singapore have been ranked second best after Tokyo, which took top spot, in a recent survey by travel website TripAdvisor.
The survey had asked international and local travellers how they view 40 key tourist cities around the world.
The results showed that taxi services and local public transport were considered best in Tokyo.
Singapore was second in taxi services, with Dubai, Dublin and London in third, fourth and fifth places respectively.
In other public transport, Singapore came in fifth, trailing Tokyo, Zurich, Munich and Vienna.
In terms of the friendliest taxi drivers, Singapore came in third, following Tokyo in top spot and Cancun in second place.
The results were compiled based on more than 75,000 responses to the survey.
The survey was sent to those who have recently written TripAdvisor reviews on the featured cities.
