SINGAPORE: Sentosa's Siloso Beach is set to be awash with colour as party-goers bid farewell to this year and usher in 2014.
For the first time, the annual Siloso New Year's Eve Beach Party will feature a "colour splash", where the public can literally soak in the atmosphere.
Revellers can choose from a range of psychedelic colours such as neon pink, yellow and green.
The paint will also be rained down on party-goers at hourly intervals at the Main Arena and Foam Pool.
The paint is organic and easily washable, meaning there won't be any lasting effects on skin or clothing.
Organisers said the whole objective is to have a splashing good time.
Sentosa Leisure Management’s events director Jimmy Wong said: "At Sentosa, we're always looking for new ways to have fun. We think the girls especially will have fun because of the vibrant colours."
Some 20,000 revellers are expected to countdown to the new year on Siloso beach with fireworks as a backdrop. - CNA/gn
