SIF rolling out Word on Wheels programme in Ho Chi Minh City
The Singapore International Foundation, SIF, is rolling out its Words on Wheels mobile library programme to over 3,000 primary and secondary school children in Ho Chi Minh City over the next three years in partnership with the the city's General Sciences Library.
The programme will enable Singapore volunteers to introduce new English and IT learning tools for the children, as well as training for the school and library staff.
So far, SIF says some 8,000 children have benefitted from the programme which had been rolled out in Hanoi as well as Bandung in Indonesia.
