SIA says flights to BKK operating normally

Singapore Airlines says its flights to the Thai capital, Bangkok, are currently operating as scheduled. 

It has 35 weekly services to Bangkok. 

It has however posted an advisory on its website. 

The airline says it'll waive the administrative fee and penalty for refunds, for customers holding confirmed tickets for travel to and from Bangkok beofre the end of the month. 

The tickets would have to be issued on or before the 19th of May. 

This also applies to redemption tickets. 

SIA says it's monitoring the situation and will provide updates on its website whenever necessary.
