SIA plane hits aerobridge at Manila Airport
A Singapore Airlines plane parked at Manila International Airport came into contact with an aerobridge due to strong winds from Typhoon Rammasun.
In a statement, the airline says that there were no passengers or crew on board at that time.
Its engineers will assess the aircraft when weather conditions permit.
SIA says passengers who are booked on SQ915 today will be rebooked on other flights today in order to minimise disruption to their travel plans.
It says for now, there are no change to the flight schedules for the rest of the flights.
The airline will be monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates should there be any rescheduling or cancellation of flights.
