SIA flights to New York cancelled

Hurricane Sandy is expected make landfall along the east coast of the United States on Monday, the 29th of October.

The tropical storm is expected to bring about significant impact, including flooding, power outages and major transportation disruptions, to major cities such as New York.

As a result, Singapore Airlines (SIA) has cancelled the following services:

- SQ26 (FRA-JFK) & SQ25 (JFK-FRA) on the 29th of October
- SQ22 (SIN-EWR) & SQ21 (EWR-SIN) on the 29th of October

Customers travelling on these flights will be allowed to re-book or cancel their flights.

Re-booking and cancellation fees will be waived.

SIA is also assisting customers who wish to re-route their travels.

Customers are advised to check the SIA website regularly for the latest updates.
