Shanmugam to attend 67th United Nations General Assembly

SINGAPORE: Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law Mr K Shanmugam will be in New York from September 23 to October 2 to attend the 67th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Mr Shanmugam will deliver Singapore’s statement at the General Debate of the UNGA and officiate at the Forum of Small States (FOSS) Conference on Small States, convened by Singapore to commemorate the 20th anniversary of FOSS.

While in New York, Minister Shanmugam will attend a number of meetings, including the Ministerial Meeting of the Global Governance Group (3G) and the Informal ASEAN Ministerial Meeting, as well as hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from various countries.
