Service delay for commuters at Jurong East during morning rush hour due to train fault

Some commuters had to wait longer than usual for the trains at Jurong East MRT Interchange during the morning peak hour on Tuesday morning.
Services were delayed due to a train fault at about 8am.
SMRT had to pull the faulty train out of service and this delayed the trains following behind.
It sent alerts on Twitter, telling commuters to expect longer travelling time.
