Search is on for missing person off Bedok Jetty
SINGAPORE: A search and rescue operation is now on in waters off the Bedok Jetty along the East Coast Parkway.
Police said they received a call for assistance at 2.20pm regarding a male who fell from the jetty.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they received a call for assistance at around 2.30pm on Sunday.
A member of the public said someone had fallen into the sea.
The SCDF despatched a fire engine, an ambulance and their Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (DART).
Divers from the Naval Diving Unit are also involved in the search.
No other details are available.
Investigations are ongoing.
