SDA's Lim says online rally is a "great achievement" & will improve presentation

The Singapore Democratic Alliance's candidate for the Punggol East, Mr Desmond Lim, has described his online rally as a "great achievement".

He said the video clips, which were first uploaded on Monday evening, had about 72,000 views on YouTube by Tuesday morning.

He told reporters after a walkabout on Tuesday morning that he'll work to improve his presentation.

He said this in response to questions about the negative comments from some netizens, in particular with his command of English.

Mr Lim said he's not disheartened by the negative comments.

He said what's more important is the content and the message he wants to send to voters.

In the first clip, Mr Lim explained why it's necessary to have more opposition voices in Parliament.

He'll release eight more video clips before Cooling Off Day on Friday.
