Scoot cancels 20 flights
Singapore Airlines's long-haul budget airline Scoot, has cancelled some 20 flights from Singapore to Shenyang and Qingdao.
The flights were to have started from 27 November this year to 8 January next year.
The airline says it has not obtained all the necessary regulatory approvals.
A Scoot spokesperson said that its a standard practice for airlines to launch destinations and sell fares, even before getting regulatory approval.
Scoot declined to say how many passengers were affected.
But affected passengers will have to make alternative travel arrangements.
Currently, Scoot tickets for flights from Singapore to Shenyang and Qingdao after 8 January are available for sale.
But these flights are still subject to regulatory approval.
