SINGAPORE: Boat Quay was hit by splashes of red and white on Saturday evening, as groups of Santas showed up for a night of merry-making at the first SantaCon in Singapore.
SantaCon - which has its roots in Denmark - has become an international event where party-goers show up dressed as Santa.
In cities like New York and London, it has become an annual fixture on the streets and at the bars - as a way of making merry during Christmas.
In Singapore, the two-day SantaCon - which kicked off on Friday evening - covered watering holes along the Boat Quay riverside.
Some 3,000 revellers also got to enjoy dance and music performances, as well as take part in challenges and games. - CNA/xq
