Sam Tan on 5—day visit to Slovakia & Czech Republic

SINGAPORE: Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Community Development, Youth and Sports, Sam Tan, is on a five—day visit to Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

His trip is in conjunction with his attendance at the Spotlight Singapore: Young Entrepreneurs Series.

Spotlight Singapore is a cultural diplomacy platform initiated by The Arts House to promote understanding, dialogue and collaboration between the arts and business communities of Singapore and their foreign counterparts.

Mr Tan will be the Singapore Guest of Honour at the Opening Ceremony of the event in Bratislava and in Prague.

Mr Tan will be accompanied by Ambassador to the Slovak Republic Jennie Chua, Ambassador to the Czech Republic Tan Soo Khoon, and officials from the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

He will also meet with leaders and Members of Parliament in the two countries.
