S’pore govt contributes S$50,000 in support of China disaster relief efforts

SINGAPORE: The Singapore government will make a contribution of S$50,000 through the Singapore Red Cross in support of China’s disaster relief efforts following earthquakes in Yunnan and Guizhou.

A Foreign Affairs Ministry statement added that Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, on behalf of the people and government of Singapore, has conveyed condolences to the people and government of China to Premier Wen Jiabao.
