Results of ramped-up BRO programme will pave way for more sustainable one next year: Khaw Boon Wan
Writing in his blog, National Development Minister Khaw Boon Wan says the intense ramped-up BTO programme is beginning to show results.
And it will pave the way for a more sustainable programme next year.
In an update, Mr Khaw notes that the year 20-13 has been a busy and productive one for his Ministry, with 13,600 flats completed and keys handed over to their owners.
He notes that the Ministry is currently at the "two-and-half year mark" of ramping up flat supply to an average of 26,000 flats a year.
He says next year, greater results of this programme will be seen, when HDB completes more than 28,000 new flats.
Mr Khaw also thank the staff of HDB and its construction partners.
