SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has directed the Registration Officer to revise the registers of electors, and to complete the revision by March 31, 2014.
The notification was published in the Government Gazette on Thursday.
The revision is a routine exercise to ensure that the registers are up to date.
According to the law, the registers must be revised not later than three years after the last general election.
The last general election was held on May 7, 2011. - CNA/nd
