Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong praises resilient spirit of Singaporeans at Chingay Parade

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong says resilience is a vital part of the Singapore spirit.

In a Facebook post, he wrote that he attended the Chingay Parade last night and thoroughly enjoyed the show.

This year's theme for the Chingay Parade is "Fire in Snow", which connotes resilience

Noting that the parade featured many Singaporeans who overcame tough challenges and managed to excel, Mr Lee said their grit and determination made them special

The Singaporeans, some of whom survived cancer or were born with special needs, had joined in the finale of the Chingay Parade.
