President Tony Tan away, J Y Pillay to be Acting President
SINGAPORE: President Tony Tan Keng Yam will be making a private overseas visit from 17 to 20 June.
The President’s Office said on Saturday that during Dr Tan’s absence, chairman of the Council of Presidential Advisers, Mr J Y Pillay, will be Acting President.
