PM Lee: Singaporeans should continue to live peacefully and preserve its harmony to build a strong society
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong says Singaporeans should continue to live peacefully and preserve its harmony to build a strong society.
He says the film that denigrates Islam and the violence that it sparked off are both wrong.
Mr Lee was speaking to Ang Mo Kio residents at a Hari Raya celebration held at Teck Ghee Community Club yesterday.
He says he is glad to see many non-Muslim residents at the celebration as it shows the spirit of unity and harmony among the different races in Singapore.
Mr Lee says this is something precious and difficult to achieve which Singapore must maintain and uphold at all costs.
