PM Lee pledged to continue his best for Singapore
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong says he and his team will continue to do their best for Singapore.
It was 10 years ago today that he was sworn in as Prime Minister.
In a Facebook post, Mr Lee said he was grateful for the opportunity to serve his country and fellow citizens.
He said he learnt much from the people he met, those who wrote to him, and those who follow him on social media.
He said their views and insights had shown him what the government was doing well, and where it needed to do better.
Mr Lee also thanked the volunteers, grassroots leaders, and supporters who gave their time and energy so generously.
He said they made it much easier for him and the government to do things for Singaporeans.
Mr Lee also thanked Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong who he said handed over "a ship in good shape", and has continued to help him "guide it safely, through fair winds and stormy seas."
